Signing into your online account on the Comcast website (www.comcast.com) can have a number of benefits, and will allow you to check or pay a bill, contact a customer representative, or change your personal details.

There are two ways to sign in to your Comcast account. First you will need to visit login.comcast.net. You will then be able to sign by entering the email address or username that you provided when you first opened your account with the company, and enter the password that you provided. You can choose to click on the ‘Keep me signed in‘ option so that your internet browser will remember your log in details the next time you want to sign in to your Comcast account. You will also need to type the letters from the security code on the screen. Alternatively, you can log in to your account via Facebook.

Forgot password or security question

If you are unable to remember your log in details, you will need to click on the ‘Forgot password‘ option on the main sign in page.

You will then need to enter the username or email address that you provided when you first registered for a new account with Comcast. Details will then be sent to you via email about how to reset your personal details. If you are unable to remember your Comcast username that you provided, you will need to follow the instructions on-screen to recover these details. Click on the ‘Forgot your username or password‘ option to be taken to the Username Recovery page. Here you will need to enter your Comcast account number and the street address or phone number that is connected to your account. You will be able to find your Comcast account number on a recent bill or statement from the company.

Create online Comcast account

Here are some of the benefits in creating a new online account with Comcast:

• You will be able to carry out a connection speed test at speedtest.comcast.net, or check your modem speed.
• You will be able to find out more information about Comcast Xfinity at xfinity.comcast.net.
• You can pay bills or view previous bill statements for your personal or business account.

To register for a new account, you will need to visit the ‘Create a username‘ page by following the links on the Comcast homepage.

You will need your Comcast account number, which will be printed on a recent statement or bill from the company. You will then need to enter the street address or phone number that is connected to the account. Alternatively, you can provide the last four digits of your security number, as well as your date or birth and phone number. You will then need to follow the instructions on-screen, before choosing a username for your account. You will receive a confirmation via email once you have set up your online account.
