To “login as user“, both a username and password need to be entered into the field located at the left-hand side of the main page.

Note that if a login rate is exceeded, the account will be temporarily disabled. For those who are attempting to access the Sandbox feature, it is important to be connected to https://test.salesforce.com.

If one has forgotten his or her password, there is a convenient option which is found below the username and password details page. Clicking on this link will enable one to reenter a username.Thereafter, a new password can be created. Once again, this page is very easy to understand and four helpful hints above the username field will enable the client to make certain that they have note caused any errors in the entry of the password. Note that in some cases, there may be a conflict of IP addresses (for example, if a false address is entered). This can also prevent a user from logging in. Create Salesforce Account

A free trial account can be created in a matter of minutes. Still, the fields that need to be entered are:

• First and last name
• Job title
• Email
• Phone number
• Specific company

Optional data includes the number of employees and the language that is spoken. It is also possible to bypass this step by using a current social media account such as Twitter, Facebook or Google+. Once this data is entered, the trial will be valid for thirty days before a subscription will need to be chosen. Some of the features that can be accessed through this trial account are:

• User history (this history report includes opportunities, client details, call times and in the case of a trial the number of days remaining).
• Access to Salesforce API (application programming interface) features such as Sandbox, a user dashboard and calling options.
• The ability to share screens with other users (for presentations).
• A general feeling of how Salesforce operates.

This support is available during the normal business hours of the location in question (as Salesforce is a global company).
