Online Wells Fargo Banking Login

The main access page consists of two fields. Both the username and the password will need to be entered in order to access other areas such as dealer services, mortgages, credit cards, Wells Fargo rewards and financial matters. The two most frequent problems that will be encountered are that a username or a password will be forgotten or entered incorrectly.

The page layout is extremely simple and a helpful search field is located on the top right-hand side providing easy access to help if needed. This page is extremely secure and all entry information will remain private due to SSL encryption technology.

Forgotten Password

A forgotten password can be changed by entering in one’s username or social security number.

Underneath this field, other metrics will need to be provided. These can include an account, ATM, loan or debit card number. If any of these details are entered incorrectly, the password will fail to be changed. Should these numbers not be available, it is best to contact customer service. Much like the entry page, the password section is streamlined and it is quite easy to understand the information required. For security purposes, the new password is neither emailed nor displayed.

Forgotten Username

Two fields will need to be accommodated on this page to retrieve a username.

The customer is required to enter in his or her social security number (a nine-digit code) and then his or her password. There may be instances when a view-only status is encountered. In this event, the client should contact his or her administrator. Again, this page is quite easy to understand and as with all other Wells Fargo portals, a help hyperlink is contained within the text itself. This section is governed by the same levels of encryption and security that the company employs throughout the site. Thus, the client can be assured that all information will remain private.

Creating an Account

There are several fields that need to be filled in to create a profile.

First, a nine-digit social security number will need to be entered. Then, the number of an account, loan or ATM card should be provided. Finally, a private email address will be entered twice (to positively confirm) into the final corresponding fields. The applicant will then select the “Continue” option on the bottom right-hand side of the page to be taken to the confirmation process. The primary issue with creating a profile is if the individual does not possess any existing Wells Fargo information (for instance, if they are not a customer). In this case, Wells Fargo advisors can be contacted. The page layout is clean and easy to understand. Help options are located directly to the right of each field and a general customer service hyperlink can also be found directly at the top of the page. As always, this page is extremely secure and all details will remain private.

So, it is clear to see that there are numerous tasks which can be satisfied through the use of these four pages. It should also be known that Wells Fargo provides a mobile banking application so that all of these pages can be accessed while away from the home computer or office.
